Toyochem Specialty Chemical (TSC) always work together with headquarter Toyo Ink Japan for development to achieve high quality printing inks and well prepared for future trends. TSC Malaysia has many high technology facilities & equipment such as pilot printing machine, FTIR, Gas Chromatography, Microscope, Autoclave, Blocking Tester and etc. Hence, TSC are able to provide good technical support to our customers. Furthermore, TSC has well-trained technical personal to provide good technical service and support to customers.

Philosophy

The Toyo Ink Group's Corporate Philosophy System, which consists of three parts corporate philosophy, corporate policies, and guiding principles was established in April 1993.The system shows the base of the brand of the corporate group and the guidelines that each employee of the Group should keep in mind and should act on as a businessperson. In April 2014, we revised the guiding principles by adding "improving stakeholder satisfaction" to the existing principles. This means improving customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and society satisfaction. At the Toyo Ink Group, we will use this revision as an opportunity to redouble our efforts to evolve into a corporate group that satisfies all of its stakeholders.

About us

Toyochem Specialty Chemical Sdn. Bhd. (TSC) Malaysia is principally engaged in manufacturing and trading of printing inks, printing chemicals and pressure sensitive adhesives with corporate office located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia and manufacturing plants in Selangor & Negeri Sembilan respectively for printing inks, printing chemicals, resin and pressure sensitive adhesives. In addition, TSC also provides services to the graphic art industry and act as agents of graphic art film and other related printing products. TSC was previously established in 1996 under the name of Toyo Ink Pan Pacific (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (TIPPM in short) focusing in manufacturing of resins and pressure sensitive adhesives in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. In September 2009, TIPPM renamed itself to TSC as part of the corporate exercise to merge with two related companies – Toyochem Sdn. Bhd. (TSB) and Toyochem Printing Chemical Sdn. Bhd. (TPC) – via take-over and subsequent delisting of Toyochem Corporation Berhad from the Second Board of the Bursa Malaysia. Consequently, TSB and TPC had been absorbed into TSC on 1st October 2009. Subsequently in year 2011 Toyochem Graphics Sdn Bhd (TG) was also absorbed into TSC.

Toyo Ink Europe Specialty Chemicals S.A.S. absorbed two other consolidated subsidiaries of the Group, Toyo Ink Europe and Toyo Ink Europe Plastic Colorant.

Established a sales office Toyo Ink Turkey Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. (presently Toyo Printing Inks) in Istanbul, Turkey.
Toyochem began sales of a one-component acrylic adhesive for industrial use, under the "Oribain" brand.

Reorganized Japan's R&D system and set up the Innovation Laboratory, the Polymer Design Laboratory, the Material Science Laboratory and the Analysis Technology Laboratory.
Toyo Ink America released "REXTA," a solvent-based flexo lamination ink for retort packaging.

Started distribution of two application software for smartphone: "TUBUCOLOR" color communicating tool and "UDing tool," a color universal designing support tool.
Merged Oriental Kasei Co., Ltd., Toyo Plax Co., Ltd. and the Colorants & Functional Materials related business division of Toyochem Co., Ltd. and launched the new company as Toyocolor Co., Ltd.
Established Jiangsu Toyo Yabang Pigment Co., Ltd. (presently Jiangsu Toyo Renxin Pigment Co., Ltd.) as a joint venture company in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China.
